 DISA Company offers a full range of industrial-grade large-capacity blasting pots, supporting multi-specification customization and flexible configuration to accurately meet the budget ranges and sandblasting process requirements of different customers. This series of equipment comes standard with a high-flow spray gun system, specially designed for high-intensity continuous operations, and can stably handle various heavy-duty sandblasting tasks. With a wide range of applications, it covers stone surface cleaning, metal component restoration, ship maintenance, civil engineering, offshore operations and many other fields.

To put the blast pot into operation, the Bleed valve must be closed by applying control pressure to the membrane. The air valve is open if we have no control pressure on the membrane, in other words, we speak here of a normally open air valve.

To start up the blast pot, open the main air valve by applying pilot pressure below the piston. The air valve is closed if we have no control pressure below the piston, in other words, we speak here of a normally closed air valve.
SU 012 Grit cylinder

With the aid of the grit cylinder it is possible to have a set amount of blasting media dispensed through the grit valve housing. In the grit valve housing there is a spring which in the rest position always ensures that the piston rod with the rubber cone on it, starts in its outward stroke. In this rest position, the blasting medium flow in the grit tap housing is closed.

Disa bulk blast pots for open-air work are designed to be safe and yet retain their efficiency. Operator safety, high production rate and reliability characterize every Blast unit. The bulk sand Blasting pots are approved according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) for 10.5 bar working pressure. They give a 20% higher capacity and shorter blasting time than at working pressure of 7 bar. Remote-control device with dead-man’s handle and twin hose is supplied as standard on all blast units.
Disa bulk blast pots are available in various sizes and all are equipped with adjustable abrasive metering valves for all common types of abrasive.
